Media Player "Widget" on the home screen has no function with Qobuz....

Hi everyone,

I use Qobuz as my streaming service, but the Media “widget” on the home screen isn't working anymore. What's not working? When I press the individual buttons (basically all of them—Start/Stop, Next Track, and Previous Track), I can see the button press animation, but nothing happens.

See the attached video.

Best regards

Thorsten

Thanks for the report, and for adding the versions. Buttons that show their press animation but do nothing usually point at the media app's side: Niagara's widget drives Android's standard media session, and when an app doesn't implement those transport controls properly, the taps come back with no effect. That's the "Media Controls Are Not Working" section of Integrated Media Player.

One check tells us which side it is. Pull down the notification shade and expand the quick settings panel fully, so Android's own media player is visible, then use its play, pause and skip buttons. Qobuz's own notification isn't the same thing, so it working doesn't rule this out. If Android's player doesn't react either, Qobuz is where it needs fixing. If it does react while Niagara's widget stays dead, that's new information for us, so please post it here in the thread.

One note: I couldn't open the video you attached from here, so if what you see differs from the above, let me know in the thread.

    Qobuz Version is 10.1.1.1.

The widget in the notification area is working (widget from Qobuz itself)
