Music Apps feature broke in recent update
When connecting a Bluetooth headset, the selected music apps does not automatically appear on the home screen. The music apps appear only after switching the device off and on (not restart). This behavior appeared after the last major update.

PinnedWe just fixed this in our 1.14.12 beta update. There still seem to be some issues with wired headphones judging from early feedback, we'll have to take another look at it.
To download the beta, you can follow our guide. The update will also be pushed to Google Play in the next 1-2 weeks, provided we don't find additional bugs.

Music category bug
With latest update, the music app category has broken down. When connected to a bluetooth headset, the apps do not appear (as they should instantly when connecting to a bluetooth device), unless i exit the launcher (e.g. open another app) and then come back again. This is dumb and defeats the purpose of the music category, because then i can just search for the music app myself as that way is faster. Previously, on other versions it worked fine, so please fix it.

I thought this only happens when a different device is also connected via Bluetooth before the headphones and Niagara only checking the first listed device on a Bluetooth device update. Good to know I'm not the only one though!

Problems with the music app
Hi, in the last few days I've been having problems with the function dedicated to music apps that appear on the home screen as soon as the phone is connected via Bluetooth with earphones or speakers: in fact, as soon as I connect the devices, the selected app does not appear immediately but after a few minutes.

Same as OP. My defined music apps no longer show up and or disappear reliably. Often have to restart launcher.

Chiming in to say same here.
It's been like this for more than a week.
Niagara Launcher 1.14.10
Samsung S25 (SM-S931B/DS)
Android 15 OneUI 7.0
So far I can't find correlation with different power saver levels, battery settings, etc.

I have also noticed that, once the music apps have adjusted and the Bluetooth device is disconnected, the music apps do not then disappear.

Music Apps not showing unless launcher is refreshed
I'm running Niagara 1.14.10 (latest version via Play Store) on Galaxy S24 Ultra w/ 1UI 8.0/Android 16. When using the music player options I have selected for Niagara to "pop up", I have to keep refreshing the launcher to get them to show. Previously before the 8.0 update they would just instantly "pop up", now there's either a delay of several mins or just have to refresh to get them to show. Any help would be appreciated, thank you 😊

Brilliant and many thanks! This is such a useful feature for keeping my home screen clutter free, and I’m thankful to have it back. I’ve actually designated a popup folder as a music app, so that appears in my favorites when I put my headphones on. And within the popup I have all my podcast/music/audiobook apps, plus a stack of widgets for those and my headphone control app.
