Timezones and calendar

I use the calendar widget on the home screen and it has been useful thus far. I just returned from a trip to Europe to Singapore.

My device obviously updated the time (and my Pixel even had a notification saying “You're now in SGT time”).

Unfortunately the calendar widget is now broken. My events for tomorrow, Thursday, evening (local SGT time) show up for Friday night at midnight etc. Something obviously got stuck here and it's unclear how to fix it. I guess I can reboot and I'll try this, but.. it's a bug and it should. not. happen.

For some reason the bug tracker doesn't allow me to select “Android 17” as mu version, which is another issue altogether.

Thanks for the detailed report, and sorry about the timing, coming home from a trip is the worst moment for a calendar to go sideways. Did the reboot actually fix it in the end? That is useful either way: if a restart clears it, the widget is caching the old timezone, and if it does not, something is off further down.

If the events are still on the wrong days, it would help to know whether Google Calendar itself shows them correctly at the same moment.
