Quick reply feature

After discarding a message on the quick reply feature it overlays the WhatsApp favourite icon and does not go away unless I restart my phone or disable the quick reply feature

    Thanks for the report, and for naming the exact trigger. A leftover notification row that stays on the home screen and covers an icon is a known issue, collected here: Swipe to dismiss notification leaves text hanging on screen (In Review). Upvoting that post gets you notified when its status changes.

    One thing that should save you the reboot: other users report that restarting Niagara clears the stuck row, so a full phone restart isn't needed and you can leave quick reply switched on. It can come back later, but it's the quicker way out.

    Your trigger looks new to us, though. The reports so far start with swiping a notification away, yours starts with discarding a quick reply. Does the leftover row show a "Dismiss" or "Cancel" button on it, and does the same thing happen if you only swipe a notification away without opening quick reply? That would tell us whether this is the same bug or a second one.
