Option to always hide status bar

Feature Request

I would like to suggest an improvement to the status bar hiding feature. Currently, this option only works while on the home screen, but it stops applying when opening other apps. It would be very useful to have an option to keep the status bar permanently hidden across the entire system, regardless of which app is being used. This would provide a more immersive experience and, in my particular case, improve compatibility with a third-party custom control panel I use, avoiding conflicts between the two. Thank you for considering this suggestion.

    Hi, wouldn't hiding the status bar permanently also avoid you from seeing the time, notifications, battery percentage, etc. while using a different app? Like I understand hiding the status bar on the home screen (a feature i also enabled), but having to swipe down every time just to check the time or to monitor your battery % would become very annoying over time dont you think…? I'm not saying your suggestion is pointless, but is there a bigger purpose for hiding the status bar permanently?
