Hidden apps in the list while scrolling the alphabet list

When we scroll the alphabets on right the app lists are shown static in the left. If I have more apps, say under S, only a few are visible and I have to ato and then again scroll the app list. I’ll suggest when S apps appear and we still scroll the S for almost 10/20 pixels, the S apps list should scroll upwards, the speed will be decided by the number of apps so I can directly grab my app in single scroll.

Thanks, the goal comes across clearly: reaching an app inside a crowded letter without lifting your finger and scrolling a second time. There is an existing request aiming at exactly that, with a slightly different gesture (hold the alphabet, then drag sideways into the list and keep scrolling there): Single touch “Select and Scroll” Workflow. Upvoting it is the best way to push the idea, since we work through requests roughly by upvotes. If your variant (staying on the letter itself and scrolling further) is the important part for you, adding that to the thread there keeps both versions visible.

One thing that might already help under S: inside a letter, apps are sorted by how often you use them. Turning off Sort All Apps List by Usage under Niagara Settings > Productivity makes the list strictly alphabetical, so an app always sits in the same spot (Alphabet settings).
