Suggestions for Improving Scrolling on the Main Screen

If apps are sorted solely by letter, there are many apps under each letter, making it a hassle to tap through them again.

I’d like to be able to swipe to the side to select letter groups. When I select a letter, I swipe my finger toward the center of the screen; then, by swiping up or down, I can scroll through the apps within that letter group to select one.

This way, I’d only need to tap and swipe once to accurately select a specific app within a letter group.

I look forward to your response.

In English, the post asks (translated):

If apps are only grouped by letter, there are a lot of apps under each letter, and having to tap again is cumbersome. I would like to be able to slide along the side to select a letter group. When I have selected a letter, I slide my finger inward toward the screen, and then by sliding up and down I can scroll within that letter's group and select an app inside it. That way, a single press and slide of my finger is enough to precisely select a certain app under a certain letter. I am very much looking forward to your reply.

This is already being tracked as Single touch “Select and Scroll” Workflow, which describes the same motion: hold the alphabet to pick the letter, drag sideways into the app list, scroll within that letter, lift your finger to launch. Upvoting it there is the best way to push it, since we work through requests roughly by upvotes, and you get notified when its status changes.
