suggestions that could make the launcher even better:

App Open/Close Animation Lag: I noticed a subtle delay or pause during the app opening and closing animations, which slightly affects the smoothness of the interface.

Double-Tap to Screen Off: Currently, the double-tap gesture to turn off the screen only works on the alphabet list area. It would be much more convenient if this gesture worked anywhere on the home screen.

    Thanks for both ideas! On the app open and close animations: third-party launchers cannot hook into the system module that provides the recents screen, so some system animations, notably returning to the home screen, cannot be replicated. That is where the slight pause comes from rather than from your device. More on it here: App launch animations.

    The double tap to sleep working anywhere on the home screen is a separate request. If you post it on its own it can collect its own upvotes, since we go through requests roughly by upvotes. This article explains how we handle requests.
