Flashlight is not working

When I try to use my flashlight from the drop-down menu or from the app itself it gives me the warning that I cannot use my flashlight because it is being used in another app this is the warning that it gives me when I open my phones light from the quick launch (double tap side button)……. But IN fact in did not use the doublebtap.. essentially my phone has lost the ability to use the flashlight app

    Thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the hassle. One detail makes your report worth a close look: since v1.16.28 (September 9) Niagara shows a reminder on the home screen when your flashlight is on, so the launcher does watch the flashlight state nowadays.

    Two answers would help pin it down, and the thread here is the right place for both. Did this start around a Niagara update? And does the flashlight still refuse to come on when you set Minimalist Phone as your default launcher instead? Your report says the cross-launcher test hasn't been run yet, and that comparison is what tells us whether the cause sits with us or with the system.
