I would like there to be a button to disable the favorites strip without losing the order in which they are hidden, if at any time I want to hide or unhide them. I would like there to be a button to disable the favorites strip without losing the order in which they are hidden, so that if I want to hide or unhide them at any time, I wouldn't lose their settings. As it is now, you have to uncheck your favorite apps to hide the entire app strip.

    Thanks, that's a clear one: a switch that hides the favorites strip while keeping your selection and its order intact, instead of unchecking every favorite and setting them all up again afterwards. Related but not the same: Disappearing/Scheduled Favorites Feature asks for favorites that hide themselves automatically (paused apps, set times of day), while yours is a manual toggle, so it stands on its own.
