Email widget no longer supported?

Within the last 2-3 days, was not able to interact with the email widget. Today I tried to refresh it and now it says it's not supported anymore. This is the standard Samsung Email app, not Gmail or anything else.

    Thanks for the screenshot, that dialog says what happened. "Widget could not be restored" shows up when Niagara asks Android for that widget and Android answers that the Email app no longer provides it. That usually happens after the app itself updates and drops or renames its widget, which is also why the message points you to the app's other widgets.

    Worth a try: tap Remove on the placeholder, then long-press the clock or agenda at the top of the home screen and tap Add custom widget (Adding (Multiple) Widgets). If Samsung's Email app still offers a widget, it appears in that list and you can put it back on the home screen.

    Could you tell us here in the thread whether Email shows up in that widget list at all? If it is gone there too, the widget went away with a Samsung app update; if it is listed and still refuses to restore, that is on our side and we'll look into it.
