Easier one handed search

Ideally this could be toggled on and off but I'm not entirely sure how you'd make this work. Basically, when scrolling on the alphabet on the right of the screen, apps toward the bottom are difficult to reach with one hand. I propose we might change the bar to work a bit more like youtube's seek bar on mobile. Regardless of where on the bar you swipe it moves the selected letter. I'm not fully sure how to explain it but it would be much more convenient while biking or hiking with one hand. Basically, you keep swiping down at the top and the selected letter goes further down and down. But if you press the selected letter and move ot around, it moves with your finger? If you just tap a letter it would jump to that letter.

Or to be able to shrink the waterfall into a sliiightly smaller corner to make X Y Z easier to access. I understand if this seems like excessive customization but I'd really like that to make usage easier. (And please, in Niagara free!!)
