Clock swaps to small variant even when clock is not moved up

A related issue also appears even when the clock is not moved up all the way:

When the clock is freshly applied, the size is correct and the bigger version is displayed. However, when going back home after a while the clock is suddenly small, even though it has enough space.

Restarting the launcher temporarily fixes the issue (Niagara settings > Advanced > Restart launcher).

We finally solved this internally and will release the fix as part of the next update.

Also having this issue on my OnePlus 12 running OxygenOS 15 (OnePlus’s flavor of Android).

This is what I typically have the clock set to:

And this is what it keeps reverting to periodically:

For me this happens whenever I reset the orientation from landscape back to portrait. I can reset it by changing the clock style to the same one. I'm using a Samsung s10e.

Hope you guys can fix it <3

Can reproduce this 100% of the time. Portrait - Landscape - Portrait seems to be at least one cause of this bug.

Also I have no use for landscape in Niagra, and would have turned this off if at all possible. Did this setting revert itself with some update? Or does it not exist?

Edit: setting exists, disabled landscape, no recurrence for ~24 hours.

I have this issue too. Pixel 7, android 14, worked fine until recent update. Looks normal, then after a few minutes the clock size reduces so much, I can't read it outside, or without glasses. Screenshots:

It has happened to me as well since the latest update (Galaxy S22). I do not change screen orientation whatsoever. I hope it can be fixed soon.

Me too. Since latest update clock reverts to small font. Reselecting the style results in large font but lower position on screen leaving a big space above. Interferes with widget of another app below it (widget is invisible but still selectable via long tap) Xiaomi redmi note 10pro. Clock positioned left of screen not centred as before.

Same, I never knew small was even an option and until this latest update I had no issues.

Update: clock comes back properly if you force stop Niagara. I don't know if that helps resolve the issue, but it's a bit faster than switching styles twice to get back to what it should be.

Disappointed the last update broke this in the first place, and very disappointed this hasn't been fixed yet. Tempted to disable updates once this is fixed.
