Change Existing Favorite App

Feature Request

I use my favorite apps as the most used app with it's folder being a category for similar apps. But sometimes a favorite app changes and then I have to recreate the associated folder with all the similar apps. I would like to be able to change a favorite app without losing the associated folder. eg. A favorite could be my texting app. Then I put all the other messaging apps in the associated folder. Then one day I realize that I use WhatsApp the most and would like to just change the texting favorite to WhatsApp without losing the folder containing all the other messaging apps.

    Thanks, that is a clearly described use case. The same request is already collected here: App pop-ups: Swap pop-up's main app with one in the pop-up. The example there is a favorite game whose pop-up holds all the other games, which is exactly your messaging situation.

    Upvoting that post is the best way to push it, since we go through requests roughly by upvotes, and you will be notified when its status changes. Adding your messaging example as a comment there helps too, because it shows the same need from a second angle.
