    Thanks for reporting! Another user ran into the same shortcut creation failure with a different app, and their thread has more detail: Drupe contact shortcut cannot be added to Niagara home screen. Upvoting it keeps the reports together.

    One thing would help us: which app were you creating the shortcut from when the timeout appeared? Please answer here in the thread rather than by mail, that way everyone following the issue sees it.
