allow swiping to app list. smoother swipe

Feature Request

It Would be awesome if swiping down to apps list instead of search was allowed. And the animation was removed for a faster response. Not sure how the search option would fit but maybe it can stay up waiting to be clicked or maybe a right/left swipe

    Thanks! There are two separate wishes in here: a swipe that opens the app list instead of search, and a faster transition without the animation. Could you split them into one post each? We work through requests by upvotes, and a bundle can only collect votes as a whole (How To Request a Feature).

    Both are close to posts you can upvote right away: Customisable swipe up asks for a setting that changes what the swipe does, including opening the full A to Z list, and Smooth swipe down and up is about the screen following your finger right away instead of only reacting once the gesture passes a threshold.

    If your idea differs from those, swipe down specifically rather than swipe up, that detail is worth keeping in a post of your own, and votes are what move a request up our list.
