Alignment

Feature Request

I honestly don't know if it's simple, but it seems like an easy change to me. Please let us change the alignment of the text and icons. We should be able to center the text and hide icons, or right-align everything and place the icon on the other side.

Thanks for the suggestion! A heads-up so it doesn't come as a surprise later: purely visual options (color, position, alignment, size) rarely make it into Niagara, because every extra toggle competes with keeping the launcher simple. The reasoning is in Missing customization features and Niagara's design principles.

Your post holds two wishes, and both already have threads collecting votes: Alignment Options for Apps and Hide App Icons. Upvoting those puts your weight where the votes already are, since we work through requests roughly by upvotes. If your case is one the articles don't cover, say a readability reason for centering the text, that's the part worth spelling out.
