Add KLWP as a trusted wallpaper to remove lag?

I've been using Niagara launcher for a long time and today discovered the guide page on how to integrate KLWP, including blurring the wallpaper when the home screen is in the background. I'm encountering a 2-5s delay in the KLWP blur, while Niagara's native wallpaper dimming has no delay. I wonder if this is related to this Kustom post: https://docs.kustom.rocks/docs/developers/five_sec_delay/

    Thanks for the detailed report, and for noticing the difference between the two. Niagara's own wallpaper dimming is drawn by Niagara itself, while the KLWP blur reacts to the exported screen variable described in KLWP/KWGT Integration, so the two don't take the same path and a lag on one doesn't show up on the other.

    The delay on that variable is already collected here: Delay in Broadcast Message to KLWP (In Review). Upvoting that post gets you notified about updates, and one thread with all the reports helps us more than several.

    The Kustom documentation you found is a useful pointer for whoever picks this up. We haven't confirmed that it is the same mechanism, so treat that as an open question rather than the answer.
