A separate horizontal dock for quick access apps

Presently we access necessary apps via a vertical list: ‘favourites’. Which serves two purposes: accessing them fast and also quick replying from home screen. But some apps like calculator, camera, phone etc. need only the first feature: a way to access it quickly without sacrificing space. As a solution for this adding a separate dock in home screen for housing these quick access apps will be good. I have attached a photo visualising this idea.

The customisable horizontal dock will be placed below the clock and above the favourites. That will make it really handy, and it will spare the vertical space.
